Our Summer School Camp is open for students who wish to expand their studies on a number of areas including German, English, Spanish, Math, Science and Visual Art in a friendly and exciting environment.

Students will be engaged in lessons, as well as in various sports activities, taking place in the afternoons. There will also be an opportunity to explore the culture of Vienna. The campus is only 20 minutes away from city centre and easily accessible by public transport. The various sport activities taught by professional sports coaches will help to improve their communication and teamwork, ensuring that the students have an exciting and productive stay with us in our Summer School Camp. Lessons and excursions in the day will be followed by leisure time in the evening for the students to relax or venture out into Austrian surroundings. We will meet the students on arrival and safely transport them to our hotel.

In the morning and afternoon lessons students will learn with a focus on spoken vocabulary and grammar in order to gain confidence and enhance their language skills. Students will be placed according to their level in one of the three groups: beginner, intermediate or advanced, with classes being designed to expand each one of their capabilities. Highly professional and experienced native speaking teachers will lead the lessons in small teaching groups with a friendly and enthusiastic atmosphere. Student's language skills will be supplemented by immersion in the thriving city life of Vienna where they will be able to apply their knowledge. Organized are also afternoon visits to restaurants, cafés and museums, giving the ideal opportunity to put what they learn into practice whilst experiencing the Viennese culture.

In the morning and afternoon lessons, the students will explore the intriguing world of Mathematics, covering a wide range of topics including algebra, geometry, arithmetic and statistics. 

The students will also work with math games, problem solving, creative graphical arts and interesting space projects. Students will be placed according to their level in one of three groups: beginner, intermediate or advanced, with classes being designed to expand each students capabilities. This tailoring will allow students to explore new concepts and challenge them intellectually. It will also help students struggling with certain areas, to transform difficulties into enjoyable and understandable topics. These math sessions are interactive and engage students to discuss ideas and problems, allowing them to understand challenging tasks. It will encourage the student's academic growth, by enhancing their persistence in math and boosting their confidence to enable important individual progress.

Students will also visit the Technical and Math museum to give them an unique opportunity in understanding the development of mathematics.

In the morning and afternoon lessons students will work with the principles of Design Art History and Photography whilst experienced art teachers will encourage creativity and introduce different techniques in a wide range of tools provided, such as charcoal, pencils, collage and pastels. Students will have the opportunity to explore and expand their own creativity by improving their art workbooks. 

Visits to the Art History Museum, Modern Art Museum, Technical Museum and the Applied Arts museum will immerse the students in the creative world of Vienna, which will develop them as young artists. This experience will be ideal for students to increase their awareness and passion for art in such a rich cultural environment. They will be inspired to further themselves as creative, independent thinkers and engage in their own work of art to fully enjoy their time at the Summer School Camp. At the same time visiting places such as restaurants, cafés and parks will give the students the opportunity to explore the culture of Vienna- one of the world's most creative city.

Science classes will encourage fun, exciting teamwork and peer learning for the students. This will expand the student's capabilities in all sciences ( physics, chemistry and biology ). By conducting exciting and fun scientific experiments in groups and individually, students will thoroughly enjoy their time spent at Study Academy Vienna.

Students will have the opportunity to work in the Vienna Open Lab to learn basic molecular biology and use lab equipment provided at the lab. Students will work in small groups to conduct experiments under the supervision of professional lab assistants in order to emulate a real laboratory experiment. This fantastic opportunity will ensure an exciting experience for the students. The students will also be visiting the largest  Natural History Museum of Vienna with a collection of over 30 million specimens to discover.

Residential accommodation fees: Include 18 hrs tuition per subject in beautiful baroque style seminar rooms. Sleeping accommodation offered in a fantastic 4 star campus (single or shared room) with en-suite facilities and WiFi. Breakfast, lunch, snacks and drinks on campus.

Non residential fees: Include 18 hrs tuition per subject in beautiful baroque style seminar rooms, with breakfast, lunch, snacks and drinks on campus.

Students may register for the Summer School Courses at any time before the course begins. However, residential students should send their application no later than 60 days before the date of the course, in order to secure their accommodation on campus. Classes are popular and spaces may fill up quickly, so the students must be sure to submit their application as soon as possible. Students will automatically receive an acceptance letter via email confirming their place in the program. After the deposit has been received, the registration will be completed. The acceptance letter will also detail the full schedule of the Summer School course along with a summary of the available sport activities and cultural events.

Payment: A deposit of €500 is required to be paid after the application form has been submitted and accepted. The balance of fees will be due 60 days before the courses begin. If the student has registered within 60 days prior to the beginning of the courses, then the full fee will be payable at once.
Chosen method of payment: Bank transfer or personal cheque. Please note that any charges incurred by the chosen method of payment must be borne by the applicant.
Bank Details: For security reasons we will not be publishing Study Academy Vienna Bank details online. They will be send immediately to you during the registration process.
Medical Insurance: All students must obtain their own medical insurance policy prior to attending Study Academy Vienna. Students from within the EU may use their E-Card or European Health Insurance Card. Private medical insurance is required for students outside the EU. It is advisable to purchase an accident insurance policy, travel insurance before coming to Vienna and comprehensive insurance to cover loos of personal items, although it is not necessary.
Obtaining VISA: EU citizens do not require a VISA. Non-EU citizens, please visit the following website, to obtain relevant travel documents for Austria: http://www.bmeia.gv.at
